How it works

Password-protected PDFs cannot be split. The file must be a valid, unencrypted PDF.

How do I enter a page range?: Use commas and hyphens, for example: 1-3, 5, 7-9. This extracts pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 9.
Are my files uploaded to a server?: No. All splitting happens in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
What format do I get when splitting all pages?: Each page is saved as a separate PDF file. When there are multiple files, they are packaged into a ZIP archive for download.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?: No. Remove the password first using a PDF viewer, then use this tool.
